How to write a formal email
Simple rules and ready-made templates in English and Arabic — copy them and send from your company address.
A clear, specific subject
Summarize the message in a few words, e.g. Request for a hosting quotation.
The right greeting
In English: Dear Mr. Ahmad. In Arabic: السيد أحمد المحترم، تحية طيبة وبعد.
Get to the point
A short first paragraph with the reason for writing, then details in bullet points.
Professional closing and signature
Best regards, then your name, title and phone number.
Send it from a business address
The same message looks far more serious from name@company.com than from a free address.
